Visualization Specialist

Calling all aspiring architecture enthusiasts: Shepley Bulfinch is seeking an Architectural Visualization Specialist!

The Architectural Visualization Specialist will have the opportunity to work with project teams to develop internal architectural drawings and to work with the marketing department on jobgetting efforts. Responsibilities include partnering with the project teams to develop plans, elevations and RCPs. The Architectural Visualization Specialist can expect to work with more experienced architects to draft plans, usually working off redlines or getting direction in a meeting, and then coming up with several design solutions. Additionally, the Architectural Visualization Specialist will be expected to develop a wide range of graphic materials for job getting efforts and project teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong and diverse design portfolio, will be interested in working on projects from concept design through construction administration, and in working in a fast-paced environment, often balancing priorities of multiple small projects. This person will be a self-starter who is able to work independently and with some direction.

Qualifications:

  • Architectural experience
  • Ability to use Revit in a professional environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Create Suite, rendering programs, and MS Office
  • Ability to think conceptually; capable of taking a concept and conveying it graphically
  • Strong skills in rendering programs (Maxwell, Autodesk 360)
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up, and/or Rhino, a plus
  • PowerPoint preferred; willingness to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure in a diverse, team environment
  • B.Arch or M.Arch, or equivalent degree
