We are looking for a Project Accountant who is curious about solving complex problems and looking to grow and learn from others that share the same values and beliefs to join our studios. This role can be anywhere in the continental US.

A successful candidate will excel in working independently and collaboratively with the accounting team, on various tasks to support the department. Understanding that urgency and accuracy are paramount to the success of the team and meeting deadlines, this attentiveness will be used in all tasks associated with invoicing, accounts payable/receivables, and project reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of the project structure in a client/consultant business environment.
- Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
- A thorough knowledge of standard contract terms, including hourly, lump sum, not-to-exceed and how they are applied in the billing process.
- Effectively communicate with Project Managers (PM) and Principals-in-Charge (PIC) regarding all financial aspects of projects
- Responds quickly and attentively to the requests of the Principals and Project Managers and outside Consultants
- Set up and maintain projects utilizing Deltek Vision
- Conduct monthly invoicing meetings with Project Managers & Principals.
- Prepare and issue project invoices to clients on a monthly basis, with appropriate documentation.
- Provide financial management information and report project results at monthly meetings
- Work with Project Managers to resolve Client aged AR
- Review, code & enter consultant invoices
- Ensures data integrity of accounting system
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or Accounting Professional certification preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of related work experience in accounting required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
- Proficient in a wide range of desktop software with emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point. Experience with Deltek Vision a plus.
- Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently
- Good problem-solving skills; able to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired
- Solid interpersonal skills
